Elder abuse is a significant and growing problem in our community. Montgomery County’s Collaboration Against Abuse, Neglect, and Exploitation (CAANE) is currently hosting a series of stakeholder sessions for our community to share information about the problem, better understand who’s doing what, and discuss ways for us to team up further to combat this problem.
On August 22, 2018, representatives from several public agencies who are on the “front line” of combating elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation will discuss their roles and responsibilities, answer questions, and engage in discussions with other stakeholder about how we can work together.
